-ventilation duct, 2 low-frequency vibration devices, 3 slide projectors, reflective mylar, self-produced audio.
a sub-bass static drone audio track was made in order to intensely vibrate a small section of a ventilation duct (aluminum), which hung 10 ft. above the ground. Reflective mylar accentuated the vibrations by draping it off the duct to hang freely close to the floor. Three slide projectors reflected distorted 'flagellic' looking creatures to the walls opposite of the mylar, producing a ever shifting 'lighting arrangement', that transforms the surrounding environment in phase transitions set in motion by the timed projectors. A version was also installed that included a 16mm loop w/ audio, spliced together from an ambiguous 1950's instructional film on how to dress wounds properly, to stop intense forms of bleeding.
